Sharing your Medical Records

Test Results
Test results will be available to you by telephone. Please telephone the practice for results after 11am. We will always contact you if further action is needed following receipt of your test results.


Out of Hours
For an illness that cannot wait until the surgery is open please telephone our usual daytime surgery number, 01773 535511, when your call will be redirected to the out-of-hours service. Your needs will be assessed and you will either be given advice or arrangements will be made for you to see a healthcare professional.

Are you aware that rather than having to make an appointment with your GP, you can visit the pharmacy for minor ailments  such as insect bites and stings, coughs, colds, tummy upsets, sunburn and many more minor ailments?

The Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission inspection took place on Wednesday, 14th January 2015 and were rated 'Good'. Please see results lower down in the page

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is an independent regulatory organisation that monitors, inspects and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety.  Their reports and findings are published, including performance ratings to help people choose care and be reassured that the health and social care services provided are safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care.  The CQC will be inspecting your local GP Practices from January 2015 onwards and we would like to encourage patients and carers to feedback your comments and experiences.

 The Care Quality Commission inspects the following services:-

  • Care homes
  • Hospitals
  • Services in your homes
  • Doctors/GPs
  • Dentists
  • Clinics
  • Community services
  • Mental health services

 The CQC have a number of key principles that guide how they will inspect and regulate all care services, with a very strong emphasis towards using feedback from patients and the public to inform their judgements about services.  If you would like to know more about the CQC inspections please click on the following link:-

 The CQC are committed to involving patients and local communities in all their work. Patients will be involved in their inspections of GP practices and GP out-of-hours services. They will gather views from individuals, families and carers and local representative groups before they carry out an inspection. The CQC will work specifically with local groups who gather the views of local people and who represent patients and communities such as practices’ Patient Participation Groups and Local Healthwatch. 

 Individuals will have an opportunity to feed back any comments about their experiences of the services provided and we would like to encourage this to take place, patients and carers can do so by completing an online experience form  http://www.cqc.org.uk/share-your-experience-finder or can contact CQC direct on  03000 61 61 61
